Metabolic Risk Assessment Test

Of course this survey is not a diagnostic tool but will give you a sense of what indicators are included when determining a person's metabolic risk.

Read through each item and count each "yes" answer as one point and add them up ("no" answers are zero points).

If your total score is less than 10, you are at low risk of metabolic syndrom. If your score is between 11 and 19 you are at moderate risk. If your score is higher than 20 you are at a high risk.

This survey is helpful as a screening tool for knowing possible medical risks. If your score puts you in a moderate or high risk, you should see a physian for a full evaluation. If your score is less than 10, it does not mean that you do not have metabolic syndrome; it just means that you are less likely to have it compared to other men and women.
